		Major Duties

		Set and promote plans to encourage professors’ research activities
		Make and manage the budget for university-industry cooperation and manage the research incomes
		Develop large-scale mid-and long- term strategic research projects and attract research projects
		Sign contracts on research projects, manage the progression of research activities, and report the
		results
		Operate the corporate credit card system for research funds, issue and distribute the cards
		Support the internal research funds and operate the support system for postdoctoral researchers
		Open and close auxiliary research institutes and support research activities at the institutes
		Estimate research-related statistics and publish a research performance paper
		Operate the research incentives system (prizes for papers, pay for paper publication, fees for seminar
		lecturers)

		Major Duties

		Manage research funds and the external accreditation
		Execute the internal and external research funds and report the performance
		Conduct audits on the research activities of the university funded institutions
		Manage human resources at the research institutes and issue certificates
		Pay labor costs of researchers (teams) and manage corporate contributions
		Collect, sort, save and manage the research funds execution documents
		Manage projects of the state-run research institutes and support the relating administrative affairs
		Manage the government R&D network related to research funds credit cards
		Comprehensive management on the computer system for the administrative work of research activities

		Concluding and executing industry-academic contracts
		Administering accounting of industry-academic projects
		Acquisition and administration of intellectual property rights
		Supporting administration and facilities of the university
		Promoting technology transfer and commercialization
		Collecting, providing and promoting information on demand and activities of industry-academic
		collaboration
		Education and training of staff in charge of industry-academic projects and other related duties
		Supporting industry-academic collaboration organizations or projects on campus
		Administration and support of the Industry Support Center and Start-up Company Nurturing Center
		Carrying out projects of the university and companies
		Promoting foundation of an industry-academic collaboration center
		Other duties as stipulated by the University’s rules and regulations or those related to duties
