Department of Architecture has a five-year undergraduate professional program with an accredited professional degree of Bachelor of Architecture (B.ARCH.). And graduate program offers Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Architectural Engineering. The architecture curriculum includes design studio, theory, visual studies, history, technology, and professional practice, with design as the major focus. The student experiment is further enriched by diverse extra-curriculum programs including open lecture series, international workshop, exhibition, publication, as well as social and professional networking opportunities.

Program Information
(Architecture Educational Accrediting Program)
B.ARCH degree has fulfilled the certification criteria and procedures that comply with Korea Architectural Accrediting (KAAB), and has received the accreditation for professional architecture program that is acknowledged by Canberra Accord, UNESCO-International Union of Architects (UNESCO-UIA) and UNESCO-UIA Validation Council for Architectural Education (UVCAE, UNESCO-UIA). Registering the certified professional education degree to the Council of Registration Boards tends to be the requirement for the registered architects internationally. Domestic professional degree program for architectural education is operated by 5-year Bachelor’s Architecture degree course, and it must receive the certification audit periodically for the maintenance of certification. KAAB certification audit is conducted by acquiring the certification criteria and procedures, and each educational programs may receive 5-year, 3-year, 2-year (conditional), postponed, or rejected accreditation based on the results of the evaluation.
The next accredit evaluation is scheduled in the fall of 2024.
Vision after Graduation
Vision after Graduation Graduates build their career in architecture field professionally by achieving registered architect license or any other architecture related licenses. Some graduates continue to study in graduate schools for achieving Master or Ph.D. degree to expand their knowledge. Various architectural related fields include architectural design, urban design, planning and development, interior design, architectural R&D, public or government agencies, academia, finance, construction companies and etc.
