The Department of Electronic Engineering in Inha University was established, in 1963, to meet the growing demand for expertise in this field. Since then, the department has grown to 17 faculty, approximately 500 undergraduate students and 90 graduate students, to make it one of the largest and most important academic departments at Inha University. The award winning department was recently recognized as Most Honorable Department of all Electronic Engineering Departments in Korea, in nation-wide university evaluations by the Korea Education Ministry. Both, undergraduate and graduate programs within the department have received praise in both, the recent evaluation and earlier surveys.
The Department of Electronic Engineering offers Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy Degrees in Electronic Engineering. The undergraduate program, in addition to providing a solid foundation in engineering principles, is a certified program by the Accreditation Board for Engineering Education of Korea.
As well, the Department of Electronic Engineering has several large and active research programs, the department has faith will make a significant contribution to our society and industry.

Vision after Graduation
The placement percentage for graduates reaches almost 100% every year. Most graduates go on to graduate school or work in industries related to electric and electronic engineering. They advance mainly to national research institutes or commercial research institutes, or other development facilities in the fields of electronic, semiconductor, communication, and physics.
